Our waitress Sara was very friendly, knowledgeable of the restaurant and provided great service……..and the carrot cake was everything she said it would be…delicious! Thank you for a great evening. If you are looking for an upscale dining experience where the food is impeccable and the service is truly personalized, this is the place to go. We started our culinary journey with the Seafood Tower, which was an absolute work of art. The presentation was stunning, and the quality of the chilled shellfish, oysters, and shrimp was pristine and incredibly fresh. Following that, the Warm Seafood Appetizer Plate offered a delightful contrast, featuring savory, perfectly seasoned crabcakes, setting the stage for the main course. But the highlight of the evening, without a doubt, was the steak. We ordered a variety of cuts, and each one was prepared to absolute perfection. The steaks were genuinely mouthwatering, perfectly cooked, and melted in your mouth—flavorful, tender, and expertly seasoned. What elevated the experience from great to exceptional was the incredible service provided by our server, Chanel. She was knowledgeable, attentive, and demonstrated a level of care that is rarely seen. We casually mentioned our love for true southern sweet tea, and to our amazement, Chanel took it upon herself to brew a fresh batch of Southern sweet tea specifically for our table. That gesture alone encapsulates the personalized, amazing service she provided throughout the entire meal. Eddie Merlots, thank you for a memorable evening. The first time at Eddie’s. While the hostess seemed a little confused with where we were sitting and getting us seated, the waiter was exceptional. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was very good. We had a great meal celebrating my wife’s birthday and they treated her exceptional. Left her a card with everyone signing it and a special dessert. We will definitely be back in talking about how great it was.
Stumbled upon this restaurant on our walk, they took us right in and seated us! Very beautiful interior, wonderful staff all around. Everyone from the hosts, waiters and wait staff were all friendly and attentive! My husband and I thought the food was out of this world good! We had the ahi wontons, my husband had a salad an I had the crab soup to start. The soup was some of the best I've ever had. Everything had such vreta flavors. We each had a cocktail as well, which were both great. I had the chimichurri steak and shrimp which was incredible, and my husband had waygu with lobster. All excellent. The carrot cake was huuuuge and amazing! Our server Matthew was so friendly and attentive. He was such a calm and delightful server, and gave us some Pittsburgh places to visit! We already can't wait to come back!! I didn't get many meal photos because I was too busy enjoying the meal. We will not forget this dinner!
I didn’t have a chance to post my review for our anniversary but my husband and I came here for our 6 month anniversary to celebrate. I called the restaurant ahead of time to let them know when I reserved a table and everything was set up beautifully. They had a wonderful special that night that came with a bottle of wine, two lobster tails and this giant steak. They even wrapped up the bone for me to make broth with. They comped us free dessert at the end of the night and the experience was wonderful. Thank you so much! My husband loves this place because of their king crab corn bisque and I have to say their food was amazing.
Food was excellent. Cooked perfectly. Bread fresh and warm. My dessert was a piece of chocolate cake that was massive! Will take me another several days to finish it. Our waitress was Sarah. She was very professional and attentive. Also very nice and warm. I have nothing bad to say about this restaurant other than I wish it was closer to me. Only issue was we sat at a table too close to the entertainment. Singer was good but hard to talk over her with speakers so close to us. Highly recommend!
